Teacher Builder is the first online alternative certification program in South Texas to be approved by the State Board of Educator Certification (TEA) , and we certify candidates across Texas in over 25+ certification areas offered in the state of Texas including Career &Technology and Trade Vocations. 

Our curriculum allows candidates to review courses as many times as they need to, gives benchmark quizzes at specific intervals to ensure you are comprehending what you are studying, and provides the user with immediate feedback to track your progress.  In addtion, we have partnered up with companies dedicated to test preparation and have incorporated their material into our curriculum to provide our candidates with more opportunities for success.  

We make it easy, efficient, and flexible for you to meet the state requirements by making the curriculum available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  We still deliver a rich and interactive curriculum that WILL prepare you for your state exams all from the comfort of your home, office, or really your nearest internet access point, and on your schedule. We also provide a great number of enrichment activities, such as flash cards and videos to help prepare you for the exam and an online resource library for you to gain more knowledge in any specific topic you choose.

Since our program is completely online, we have certified candidates successfully from as far away as Japan.  You see, our model allows candidates to begin the curriculum from anywhere in the world as long as they have internet access. Once our candidates arrive in Texas and get hired we will provide them with experienced mentors anywhere in the state, that will guide them through the last leg of their certification.
